One of The Trust's aims is to provide a service to youth leaders to help them in their work with young people. With this in mind, we prefer to speak to all our clients before they make a booking. In this way we can match the size of group, needs of the individuals and desired outcomes of the voyage to the most appropriate vessel, sailing area and length of trip.
We may also be able to assist with the financing of a voyage through our Voyage of Discovery Fund, offer advice on additional funding sources, help with menu planning, arrange a visit or provide additional resource material.
The Trust operates a limited number of individual youth charters for Duke of Edinburgh Gold students and like minded young people plus day sails and longer voyages for traditional sail enthusiasts and adults who want a sailing experience. See Charters for more information.
We are always pleased to discuss any aspect of our service or voyage details so please telephone us on 01621 776684 or email email@example.com.
Our sailing schedule is relatively flexible depending upon client demand. Over the years we have come to know where the majority of our groups like to sail and generally base the schedule around this. If you have a particular voyage project in mind for this season or for the future, please put forward your proposal and we will be pleased to consider it.
For details on where the vessels are sailing in 2013 please contact the Cirdan office.
Charter Fees are per group for the whole vessel and the final cost will depend upon the amount of grant we are able to award from our Voyage of Discovery Fund. We ask all groups to make a meaningful contribution towards their voyage which they can usually do through internal budgets, applications to grant making bodies (lottery, community foundation trust funds etc) and other fund raising initiatives.
We also suggest that the young people /parents are asked to make some contribution and /or undertake some form of fund raising themselves towards the cost – not only does this help us it also gives them some ownership of the experience and commits them to participating.
The full voyage fee starts at an average of £80 per person per day but most youth organisations and special needs groups will be able to access our Voyage of Discovery Fund which can reduce the cost considerably – on average to a level around £40 or less per person per day.
The actual amount of grant we award from our fund will depend on the group’s access to funding from elsewhere, the particular voyage they wish to undertake and the level of funds available in our pot – these funds are generously donated by grant making trusts, supporters and individuals who recognise the benefits to be gained by young people from the challenge of life at sea.

Our voyages are generally covered as follows:
